Starting therapy can feel like a big step.

You may be coming here because something feels heavy, stuck, overwhelming, or unclear. Or maybe you’re simply noticing that the ways you’ve been coping are no longer working the way they used to. Whatever brings you here, you do not need to have the right words or a clear plan before beginning. We can figure it out together.

Root & Reclaim is a space for slowing down, making sense of your experiences, and reconnecting with yourself in a way that feels grounded and supported.

What Therapy Here Is Like

Therapy at Root & Reclaim is collaborative, relational, and paced with care.

This is not a space where you are expected to perform, have it all figured out, or “be okay” before you arrive. Instead, we begin where you are.

Individual Sessions
$150.00

I work with adults and adolescents (12+) who may be navigating:

  • Trauma and painful life experiences

  • Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm

  • Relationship and attachment difficulties

  • Identity exploration and life transitions

  • Self-worth, boundaries, and people-pleasing patterns

  • Family conflict or generational dynamics

  • Burnout, exhaustion, or feeling disconnected from self

  • Specialize in DV and SA

You do not need a specific diagnosis to begin therapy. If something in your life feels hard to carry alone, that is enough to start.

Family Sessions
$200.00

Family therapy focuses on understanding and shifting patterns within the family system as a whole.

Families are complex systems shaped by roles, expectations, history, and unspoken dynamics. When things feel tense, disconnected, or reactive, it is often not about one person alone but about the patterns that have developed over time.

In family therapy, we work together to:

  • Improve communication and understanding between family members

  • Explore conflict patterns and emotional reactivity

  • Strengthen connection and repair relational ruptures

  • Support caregivers and youth in understanding each other more deeply

  • Create more stability, clarity, and emotional safety within the home

The focus is not blame, it is understanding how each person experiences the system and how the system can begin to shift in healthier ways.

Couples Sessions
$185.00

Couples therapy is a space to slow down the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, disconnected, or in conflict within your relationship.

Relationships often become the place where our deepest needs, fears, attachment patterns, and past experiences show up. What looks like “communication issues” on the surface is often something more layered beneath it—misattunement, protective responses, unmet needs, and long-standing patterns between two people trying to understand each other.

In our work together, we focus on understanding what is happening beneath the cycle, not just what is being said, but what each person is feeling, needing, and protecting.

Together, we may explore:

  • Communication patterns and recurring cycles of conflict

  • Emotional disconnection, shutdown, or reactivity

  • Attachment needs and relational responses

  • Trust, rupture, and repair

  • Navigating stress, change, or transitions within the relationship

  • Building emotional safety and understanding between partners

The goal is not to assign blame or decide who is “right.” It is to slow things down enough to understand what is happening between you, and to create space for clarity, accountability, and connection if both partners are willing to engage in the process.

A Note on Relational Work

Whether working with couples or families, I approach relationship therapy with curiosity, structure, and care. These sessions can bring up strong emotions, long-standing patterns, and moments of discomfort but also opportunities for repair, clarity, and deeper connection.

My role is to help slow things down enough that each person can be heard and the patterns between you can become more visible and workable.
