A limited number of sliding scale openings may be available based on current availability and individual circumstances. If sliding scale spots are not currently available, you are welcome to be added to the waitlist for future openings.
If you are interested in exploring whether a reduced-fee option may be available, please mention this during your consultation call so we can discuss options and determine next steps.
Do you offer a consultation before starting therapy?
Yes. Root & Reclaim offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation call to explore whether we may be a good fit.
This brief conversation is an opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, ask questions about the process, and learn more about my approach.
Finding the right therapist matters. Therapy is a deeply personal process, and feeling a sense of trust and connection with your therapist is an important part of the work.
What happens after the consultation?
If Root & Reclaim feels like a good fit, we will discuss next steps for scheduling your first session and beginning the intake process.
If it feels like another provider or level of support may better meet your needs, I will do my best to provide guidance or referrals when possible.
How often will we meet?
The frequency of sessions depends on your needs, goals, and circumstances. Many clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and support meaningful progress, though frequency can be adjusted over time.
Together, we will determine a pace that honors both your goals and your capacity.
What can I expect during my first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know each other and understand what brings you to therapy.
We will discuss your current concerns, your history, your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will also talk about how we can create a plan that feels supportive and aligned with your needs.
You do not need to have everything figured out before your first session. We will begin where you are.
Iām not sure if therapy is right for me. Can I still reach out?
Absolutely.
You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Many people reach out because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply know they want something to change.
The consultation call is a chance to explore whether this feels like the right space for you.
